Fairies

Brief History- Fairies are one of the magical natives who originate from the continent of Legenda. When the large group of refugees arrived in Legenda long ago, the fairies decided to retreat further into their homeland, an area of Legenda known as Fusang. There they hide what has been called the tree of life. Fairies have developed a liking for the elf race. The two races and their offspring, the sprites, live harmoniously in Fusang, but no elf or sprite has ever been known to have laid eyes on the tree of life. This leads some to believe that the tree is just a myth.

Abilities- Fairies manipulate the natural environment around them. When the forests attack or weather goes suddenly awry, you can bet that you have wandered into fairy territory; turn back or face their wrath. The bodies of these tiny little creatures glow many different colors when they are relaxed and playful. When they are threatened, their skin becomes camouflaged, making them nigh on impossible to spot. They can fly at hummingbird speeds.

General Appearance- Fairies are undoubtedly the smallest of all intelligent life in Fifth Earth, measuring no more than half a meter (or a little over half of a foot). Their wings are translucent and butterfly like; the wings of a fairy are known to be their pride and joy. Their skin glows brilliantly whilst they are relaxed, changing freely from one color to the next. This site is extremely rare to anyone besides elves, sprites, and other fairies, as they are sensitive to others entering their territory.
