Dwarves

Brief History- Dwarves are descendants of the ancient sentient beings that wandered away from Crystallus. Landing on the continent today known as Tekhnologia, these beings adapted to the land, surviving almost entirely off of their hunting skills. During these early days, dwarves were a jolly bunch. They were only aggravated when an elf's arrow would interrupt a hunt just before they had the chance to ambush their prey. In retrospect, this tug-a-war was good for keeping them on their toes. Then the humans arrived. After many generations, the dwarves were banished from their homeland, along side their elf neighbors. Today, dwarves can be found living in both Hybrida and Legenda, with the vast majority residing in Lemuria protecting their goblin buddies.

Abilities- The small but wide frame of a dwarf is known for packing a serious punch. The average dwarf is about five times as strong as a human and just as fast. Due to this, dwarves are often seen carrying items that are much larger and heavier than one might expect. Dwarves don't have a strong affinity for magic, but the goblins have taught their dwarf protectors some basic trickster spells.

General Appearance- Dwarves are a little more than half as tall as a normal human and have a much stockier build. Dwarves tend to dress as if they are going into war at all times, but honestly, most dwarves just feel more comfortable in armor. They are also known to carry their large weapons around for much the same reason.
