Name: Mansoor Teostam Rahim
AKA: Saajida's Bird, Voice of the Eastern Villages
Race: Crystalite
Age: Roughly 40
Gender: Female
Home Land: Eastern Villages, Crystallus (the village of Saajida)
Current Location: The Central Plateau, Crystallus
Appearance:
Biography: Though given a name usually reserved for masculine kings, bread-winners and warriors by a parent that expected greatness no matter the cost, Mansoor never concerned herself with dominance or becoming strong. She did the exact opposite, keeping to herself throughout her life, but around the age of 20 she began to wonder why that's all people ever do in the Eastern Villages. Being a Crystal being, she is gifted with immense physical and mental strength, but she chose to use her legs above all. She used them far and wide, taking herself at insane speeds to branch out to the Central Plateau and Western Villages. After a time, she'd explored a massive part of Crystallus and found plenty of things to enjoy and partake in, but the one thing she couldn't find was a reason to live in fear.
Noticing that the East rarely had someone representing them in the Central Plateau alongside the forest people of the West and the beach-dwellers of the Southern Shores, Mansoor eagerly proceeded to share the customs and riches of her Village with the rest of Crystallus, with the goal of showing that the people of the East are far more than quiet, shut-in jerkasses. Despite her efforts, however, the rest of Crystallus' representatives and travelers had dwindling interest in Mansoor's homeland. She did not lose hope. The children of her homeland revered her for having the bravery to go out into the world, even more intrigued when she would come back with a few baubles and crazy trinkets of the surrounding territories. Slowly but surely, the word of a brave and traveling Saajidan caught on, a potential gateway to hope and fearless existence. Mansoor lives her life now as a traveling spokesperson and ambassador, the first dedicated and willing representative in documented Eastern history. She hopes to some day establish tranquil relations with the entirety of the Fifth Earth, though her growing popularity and stardom has made a religious paragon within the villages quite jealous.
Personality: Mansoor is definitely Eastern in that she's quiet, and she has reason to be: the Crystal People do not speak. They telepathically transmit their messages, but that doesn't stop her from having a personality all her own. She upholds a positive outlook, one of a desire to explore, branch out and meet everyone, definitely making her someone you'd want to be a leader. Her insecurities, however, are existent and apparent in that she tries her hardest to show the magnificence of a country that is objectively unremarkable. Anyone insulting her homeland really has the ability to get to her on a personal level. Mansoor is also incredibly easily intimidated, so people larger and more aggressive than her can easily force her into a quaking mess.
Equipment: Mansoor carries no weapons on her, nor anything of real value aside from her clothing. Knowing she's something close to a hot-button celebrity of sorts within her home village, she deems it unwise to make yourself someone worth targeting. During heated encounters, she relies more on her speed.
