Legenda
There is never a dull moment in the land west of Crystallus, the land of Legenda . This continent is divided into five territories each named after a legendary civilization in human history. The humans assigned these names shortly after they arrived and alliances started forming with the locals. These names serve as a reminder that the march towards a technology driven society must be halted, less the magical glories that everyone knows and loves will be lost forever. All the kingdoms of this land believe unanimously in this ideal, though some individuals occasionally question this conventional wisdom.
But for the most part, the inhabitants of each territory tend to keep to themselves. Rarely, but not unheard of, battles will erupt over border disputes or pride. Actually, there is one race that does not keep entirely unto themselves. The goblins in the heart of Legenda don't like when things become too peaceful. It is rumored that over half of all border disputes and misunderstandings of all kinds are influenced by goblin magic in some way. The poor dwarves are either under a spell or just too dense to ever believe that their little buddies could be the cause of such chaos.
Weather all across this continent is rather humid. The southern region is very hot. Stretching into the north, the temperatures become more tolerable, but never cold. Rain is a common occurrence with the rare lightning strike thrown in for good measure. Aside from the well maintained lands of Camelot, forests of all kinds cover this entire continent. Wild and poisonous animals can attack at any moment deep within these woods.
